Lucky Constable recaptures stolen mules near Baxter Springs
Constable John Jones arrested Edward A Corp near S. A. Blanchard's home after recognizing a pair of stolen mules from a prior description. Corp tried selling the animals to Blanchard. a $50 reward had been posted for recovery and another $50 for arrest and conviction. Jones has received the first payout and expects the second upon conviction.
