The city granted a mineral lease on a portion of the 50 acre tract west of Seas i to an unnamed winner while Will Price of Joplin, the unsuccessful bidder, offered 16 percent for the lease.

Miss Opal Pal is reported to be returned to her home in the city on Wednesday. The event involved Thel Riseling of this city and was described as a routine homecoming with surrounding anticipation.
