Mr Pees Wilbur and Miss Margaret Hartley married at home on Saturday afternoon December 31 by Rev A L Jones. The bride, daughter of Mrs J P Hartley, is a fine young woman. The groom, a boating and straightforward farmer of Lyon township, owns a nice farm and prepared a home for the couple. News extends congratulations and best wishes.
Mrs. L. H. Watts hosted a chafing dish luncheon Thursday for her sister Mrs. H. E. Humphrey of Chicago who is visiting. The gathering was described as a very enjoyable affair with many friends in attendance.
