Burned To Death In Columbus Woman Dies After Gas Stove Fire
Mrs. N. T. Allison, a respected Columbus resident, died next morning after her dress caught fire from an open gas stove. Her son, who helped extinguish the flames, was badly burned. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church with Rev. Hudson officiating and tributes from Rev. Homer Cooke. Audrey and Swannie Smith attended. the ceremony drew a large Cher okee County gathering.
