Holiday goods and novelties advertised at lowest prices for useful presents. In Peacock Valley a strip pit opened and paid, a mining wonder with ore face about 30 feet high. A new mill on the ground will start Monday. Ray P. Brock of Hallowell visited Baxter relatives this week.
