Little Louise Patton died Saturday evening after a brief illness that began with a severe cold. Born April 5, 1910, she was seven months and twenty eight days old and was the twin sister of Lucille, who had been ill but recovered. Funeral services were held Monday at the family home on East Sheridan Street, with Rev. Rhoades of the First M. E. Church officiating, and interment followed in Baxter Cemetery.

The social season peak event was hosted Thursday by Mrs C C Rummel and Mrs A L Harvey at Mrs Rummel’s residence. Afternoon guests played whist with Miss Oviatt taking honors. evening participants included Mrs Frank Perkins and Chas L Smith as winners. Hostesses were assisted by Misses Hazel Goodwin and Mabel Rummel, with refreshments served both sessions.
