Mayor Drew Dies in Rochester After Medical Visit
Reports state Mayor Drew died after a medical visit in Rochester and Waukiba to consult specialists. Mrs Drew learned of his decline in Minneapolis and rushed to reach him too late. The body will be moved to North Battleford for family plot interment.

Mrs Bradley Nearing Recovery From Pleurisy Pneumonia

Battle River Council Meeting Discussion and Road Plans
The Battle River council held its monthly meeting in Battleford with all members present. Officials discussed provincial health regulation distribution, lamp purchases, cards, and lamp prices. The meeting covered the inspector's report on municipal affairs and possible bridge work north of the area.
