George W. Witham 60 formerly of Bath died Saturday morning in Woodfords. He worked 35 years at Bath Tron Works and recently at Southworth Machine Co. in Woodfords. He is survived by his wife Idella, a son Lester A. Witham of Peabody, two sisters Mrs. Rogers of Auburn and Mrs. Noyes of Lewiston, and two grandchildren Idella and Wilfred. Burial will be in Auburn after funeral Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at 749 Congress Street, Portland. He was born in Pittsfield to Lorenzo and Mary Witham and was a member of the Sasanoa tribe of Red Men.
Miss Dorothy Campbell 26 longtime Bath Lewiston resident died Friday at 10.15 am at her home 18 Howestreet Lewiston. Born in Prince Edward Island she lived in Bath and Lewiston the last 20 years. She belonged to St. Joseph's church and the Children of Mary Lewiston. Survived by her mother Mrs Catherine Campbell and four sisters Mrs Margaret Heaulieu and Misses Sarah Mary Nora Campbell of Lewiston.
