Miss Norma Jean Steussy daughter of Mr and Mrs Reinold J M Steussy married Cpl Dwight W Pierce Jr USAAF son of Mr and Mrs Dwight Pierce at Central Congregational church in a double ring ceremony. The bride wore a white faille gown with seed pearl detail and a fingertip veil. Attendants included Miss Jane Stevens and Miss Mary Pierce. Ushers were Bowdoin classmates and USAAF officers. The reception followed at the bride’s home with a formal receiving line and wedding cake. The couple left for a brief honeymoon. both graduates of Morse High School.
