Capt J Horace McClure of Battery H 240th Maine Coast Artillery is transferred to captain of the Maine National Guard Reserve Corps by the War Department. Lt Elva Stinkey will succeed McClure in Battery H and 2nd Lt Joseph Butler becomes first lieutenant.
