Miss Martha Hamblett Killed in Brunswick Crash
Miss Martha L Hamblett 20 daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward B Hamblett of 23 Pratt street died after a sedan crashed into a large motor truck trailer on the Bath Brunswick highway. Miss Edith E Estabrooks 22 of 43 Meadow Way and Miss Nellie I Burgon 22 of 490 Middle street were injured. The accident occurred about 11 o clock Friday night near the Catholic cemetery with Estabrooks operating.

Four Sentences Imposed by Judge Fellows Thursday
Judge Raymond Fellows handed down four sentences at Sagadahoc Superior Court in Thomaston. Edmund Robinson of Bath received a straight 1 to 2 year term for larceny of an automobile from Cummings Motors with execution staid. Elmer Rhodes and Charles Beals of Brunswick were given 2 to 4 years with two years probation. Ernest Harmon of West Bath received 1 to 2 years for felonious assault on Edward Moisson of Bath with one year probation.

Aletes Yacht Departs in Tow of Two Boats
The 190-foot luxury yacht Aletes built by Bath Iron Works in 1930 for about 750000 leaves Kennebec River bound for Rockland to be inspected at Snow ship yard. Iron Works hopes to place it in commission though sale to foreign interests remains possible. Tug Sequin and Snow ship yard’s Smith tow the vessel with five Iron Works crew aboard led by Port Captain William S Blair. Weather favorable as the tow begins at 7 10 a m and reaches Popham Coast Guard by 8 15 a m.

Tuberculin Tests Given at Morse High School

Mr and Mrs John H Stuart of 322 Washington Street welcomed Ruby Faye Roy Edward and Ruth, believed to be Bath’s second triplet birth. Ruby Faye gained weight after a two week hospital stay, while Roy and Ruth increased by over two pounds combined.
