Weather this month has favored good fishing and hunting. Ridley, using a Meek, shot twelve birds, four on water and four in air. Parshley of Kennebec Engine Co vacationing at Merrymeeting Bay, with King and Howard, lived on a houseboat and hunted. King felled three geese in water, one rising, and Mitchell added another. The largest bird weighed 8 1/2 pounds. King's four birds weighed 20 pounds.
