A Bath committee meeting chaired by Oliver Moser set plans for a three week Liberty Loan drive. Brunswick bond houses Charles E. Biswell and George S. Stetson spoke on campaigning. Bath’s city allotment ranges from 245 906 to 5740 000 with expectations of oversubscription. The new bonds pay 1 percent interest, with first issue convertible to 4 percent. The Kennebec team beat rivals by 9 inches, while Okos lent men to each other during brakeman shortages.
