It urges awareness of the other hunter, wearing a red coat, keeping loaded guns away from camp, avoiding thickets, ensuring aim is true, and preferring a missed target to harming a person. It adds a packing list including matches, compass, tools, lunch, license, map, rifle and ammunition.
At 43 Whidden Street in Portsmouth NX H there was a lively gathering for Mrs Harrison Haggett the 89th birthday mother of Mrs James Hogan. Guests arrived with warm wishes and gifts including a birthday cake with 89 candles which she sliced for all attendees before departure.
Theodore H Edgecomb aged 86 died at eight o clock Thursday at the home of his grand nephew Edward Vaughan 66 Oak St where he had lived the past two years Death followed infirmities from a shock five years ago He was born in Bath son of John and Mary Edgecomb a caulker in local shipyards until retirement fifteen years ago Survived by nine nephews and three nieces Funeral at 2 o'clock today from Vaughan residence.
