Two Bath youths charged in Sears break in Bath
Two 13 and 14 year old boys were arraigned in Juvenile Court on breaking and entering Sears Roebuck in Bath. Police said the pair carried a pinch bar, tool box and gurney sack and planned to force three rear doors. They were placed on file without pleas as warning issued.

A 13 year old Wiscasset boy Daniel Reed was hospitalized Saturday after a companion’s accidental .22 rifle discharge while they played near his home. Reed was in the stomach area and underwent surgery. condition not released. The incident involved William Cost Jr., 13, also of Gardiner road, Wiscasset.
