Postmaster Seeks To Restore Public Access At Bath Office
Postmaster Owen surveys general conditions at Bath to restore a curtain for box holders and improve early access to mail. The curtain, once used by Edward W. Hydeg, was abandoned after his retirement and may be found in the federal building basement. If located it will be used again. if not, another curtain will be procured. A sign will prohibit patrons from entering the work room before windows open and another sign restricts passage from the postmaster’s office to the work room to employees only.
