The bride, a Thomaston High School graduate of 1923, became a phone office employee. the groom, Morse High School 1925 graduate, works in the shipping department of the Commercial Trading Co. The couple left by auto for a week’s trip.
The Howard Terminal Company plans two large all welded oil storage tanks on Woolwich shore north of Blaisdell boat shop. Norman W. Howard leads the Bath businessman’s shift from retail to wholesale fuel oil, with gravity feed tanks enabling direct loading to trucks and rail cars.

A Tuesday evening collision at Route 209 near Totman Library involved a Ford sedan driven by Loring Darling with five aboard and another car driven by Herbert N. Doughty. Darling suffered serious injuries with cut hands. state inspector investigated.

A Bath based reunion of Bath residents occurred in Honolulu on September 3 aboard the new Dollar liner President Hoover bound from New York to Manila. Mrs. Abraham Schwartz of Bath, formerly Goldie Solovich, sailed with her husband, a Manila based executive. They were greeted in Honolulu by Mrs. Charles Fielder, formerly Mrs. William Small of Bath, who dined with them aboard.
