Carlo the collie vanishes from Popham Beach life saving station
Carlo a small collie mascot at the Popham Beach life saving station is missing after wandering off near Wiscasset on the Bath road while owner Graydon M. Morse was visiting a friend. Morse drove on, hoping for a quick return, but by Tuesday no word had reached the station. Carlo has previously traveled from Bath to Popham and back, suggesting the Wiscasset route as a possible detour. Anyone who spots a small collie named Carlo is asked to notify the life savers.
