Memorial Clock In Clubhouse Dedication At Cosmopolitan
The Cosmopolitan club placed a banjo clock in the directors' room this week to honor Mrs. Lina Andrews Ross, first president in 1913. On Mother's Day a marker was set on the room door and a sizable donation from Mrs. Ross’s mother funded two memorial gifts. A life size portrait of Ross, dated from her presidency, was later donated and installed in the room.

Automobile crash snaps light pole. driver escapes injury
An automobile traveling from Hallowell to Augusta left the road near Hallowell cemetery early Tuesday, swerved into an electric light pole, which broke off above the car. The pole fell into the vehicle, tearing through the top, but the driver narrowly escaped injury.

The funeral of Charles W. Temple, a well known stone mason who died at West Point, Phippsburg, was held Saturday at the Funeral Home in Bath. Rev. Charles H.
