Two Hospital Cases Reported After Street Incident
Stephen J Collins age 28 of 59 Bluff road suffered an ill turn Wednesday morning on Center street and was taken to Memorial hospital for observation and treatment. Charles W Lee of 115 North street Hardings factories stores department employee was injured Tuesday morning at work when an acetylene tank injured his paw and he was sent to Memorial hospital for further observation.

Annual Parish Street Church Holds Annual Meeting
The Winter Street Church held its annual parish supper and business meeting with a menu of ham mashed potatoes relishes apple pie ice cream and coffee. Horace W. Ward led as general chairman of the supper and Mrs Clifford B. Schaper opened the session. Allan Spear was elected moderator and John Taylor reelected clerk with Elmer Williams reporting treasurer. Wheeler Is Sentenced to Eight Years in State Prison
Thirty two year old Robert Wheeler Richmond theater owner and father of six was sentenced to eight years at hard labor in the State’s late Friday after a Sagadahoc county jury found him guilty in a $10 000 bail. Wheeler showed no emotion as the verdict was read and the court commended the jury for its service.
