Fish and Game Chief Urges Club to Boost Revenue
Maine Inland Fish and Game Commissioner Roland H. Cobb urged Sagadahoc Red Gun & Skeet Association members to help fund the department, noting it is funded mainly by user fees and that inflation limits its work on raising pheasants and fish. He advocated education by clubs to curb overharvest and praised the local club's growth while outlining plans to charge 50 cents per pheasant used in field trials and to provide eggs and chicks to organizations for raising birds.
