A wide collection of ship portraits logs instruments and models drew hundreds to Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick last week. Bath Couple Celebrates Tenth Wedding Anniversary

Bath Woman Injured in Auto Accident
Miss Della Gaudette of 630 Washington Street Bath was injured Wednesday evening in Brunswick when struck by a car driven by Leo C. Bowdoin College freshman from Passaic New Jersey. She suffered cuts and bruises to the head hip and shoulder and was treated by Dr G M Elliott. Leo was arraigned in Brunswick police court on a charge of reckless driving.

Bath Boys Row 45 Miles In 10 Hours In Olden Times
Two Bath brothers aged 12 and 14 rowed a 14 foot boat from Bath to Damariscotta about 45 miles in just under ten hours. Setting sail at dawn they faced tides and swells along the Kennebec and Sheepscot before reaching Damariscotta River in the afternoon. Runaway Boys Troubled Police Before Found Near Brunswick
Stanley Cothran and Hilton Mitchell, both 16 and 10, ran away from home Tuesday afternoon and spent the night away. Scout master Pascal Flint alerted authorities and a fire alarm call drew more than 100 boys. The runaways were found near Brunswick and returned to their families. One boy planned to fish near New Meadows River to sell them. they borrowed a bicycle and rode off, facing a flat tire and missing pedal by nightfall. They lodged at a hotel before return.
