First Baptists Hold Annual Meeting and Call to Pastor

The Domhegan House once linked to General Joshua L. Chamberlain and Bowdoin College suffered fire damage worth several thousand dollars. Pheasants Released Near Bath By Sagadahoc Rod Gun Skeet
Seventy five year old breeders were released in North Bath and West Bath by Pres. Nicholas B Mihalos of the Sagadahoc Rod Gun Skeet Association with help from William T Donnell. The birds came from the Dry Mills game farm as part of 200 released in Sagadahoc county that day with 125 sent to Richmond and Bowdoinham. The club seeks to assure good pheasant shooting next November and discussed trout stocking with Game Commissioner George J Stobie, learning no trout were available due to higher costs despite Sagadahoc having stocked 58,000 trout since last July in Richmond streams Hatch's brook Woolwich and Watuh lake Sebasco. The visiting committee included Donnell Plant and Converse Fenn.

Grass Fires Responded by Engine 4 and Wagon

A Polish man, just placed in Bangor jail, says he was robbed of $30 and will testify against a fellow inmate charged with the theft.
