Teachers Meet at Morse High in Bath

The fourth annual Sagadahoc County Teachers Association session held at Morse High School drew a record crowd. Highlights included Mrs Florence Hale from Presque Isle Normal School discussing the teacher in the community and a civics address by Prof Orren Hormell. Noon visits to Bath Iron Works offered views of the torpedo boat destroyer set for launching.

Will of Galen Moses Filed for Probate

The will of Galen C. Moses dated 1912 is filed for probate. It leaves $1000 each to Galen M. Harris Galen M. Hill and Galen M. Low and $1000 to Charles C. Low. Executors are Rupert H. Funeral of Mrs. Annie H Hyde in Boston and Bath

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Hayden Hyde widow of Gen. Thomas W. Hyde were held in Boston at Emmanuel Church and at a Washington Street residence. Relatives and friends attended, with floral tributes from Bath Iron Works and local groups. The pallbearers were named, and music featured Chopin Funeral Music and Handel Largo during services.
