Snow and surf mark unsettled sea and storm activity
A cold Wednesday saw a light snow shower while a southeaster roared in with heavy surf at the Kennebec river mouth. Tuesday’s storm produced one of the season’s biggest rain pours as railroad men reported. Citations note coast and harbor activity, with ships from Ossipee to Boothbay Harbor weathering high seas and winds.
