Church League Board Holds Busy Meeting In Bath
The Y M C A Church Basketball League held its seventh meeting in Bath with many officers present. The track meet is set for March 23 with six of eight teams entered. entry closes tonight and Elm Street may join. Banquet plans were approved for April 3 with a full menu and the Y M C A Ladies Auxiliary to serve. A new constitution section disqualifies students and workers outside Bath unless within five miles. A revision committee was named to refine the charter.

Maine Exports Show Decline in Value for Second Quarter
Maine export data from the Department of Commerce shows merchandise shipments for April to June totaling 1,537,718 dollars, down from 1,716,806 the year before. Unmanufactured wood led values at 175,154 dollars, followed by machinery and parts, wood manufactures, leather goods, and other commodities. Maine ranked fifth among New England states in export value.

Boy Sledding Accident Causes Scalp Cuts
Wilfred B Chaney 12 son of Vernal P Chaney of 375 Middle Street suffered scalp wounds and bruises while sledding late Monday afternoon at the South end. He was towing another sled when an automobile driven by John Crane pulled to the left to avoid collision but Chaney struck the rear wheel. Crane took him home for medical aid. No serious injuries expected.

Spring term extends by a week due to epidemic
