West Bath Schools Reopen After Weather Closure
West Bath will resume classes Monday after weather and travel closures lasting over two weeks. The town notes small current enrollment, reports on residents, local work on the Rosedale property, boat activity as ice breaks, and community updates from the school committee led by Mrs. J Everett Mayo.
Bath Market Still Slowed by Short Supplies and Seasonal Factors
Market in Bath sees slow throughput as farmers finish winter tasks. Egg prices hold around 30 cents a dozen while Boston strawberry boxes fetch 35 to 40 cents. Potatoes, onions, cabbage, beets and turnips are scarce with prices low or rising. Maine seed potatoes favored for disease resistance. Hay and butter supply limited as farmers market to regular customers.
