Bath Elects Democratic Landslide Mayor and Council
A Bath election produced a decisive Democratic landslide led by Mayor-elect Frank A. Small, with Democrats winning six of seven aldermen and 19 of 21 councilmen. The lackluster Republican effort, a heavy snowfall, and strong Democratic turnout defined a year of party fortitude in the city. The roster includes Aldermen Ward 1 Harry W. Crosman and others, plus Councilmen across wards led by Raymond Powers in Ward 6 among the few Republicans represented in the council.
