Mr. Mallet was born at Pautuxit Rhode Island and was the daughter of Christopher H and Eliza Potter Trornton. She is survived by her only son Hon E B Mallet of Freeport. Potate prices dropped to 42 dollars per barrel in New York from 12 at the high point, due to dumping from eastern Virginia and southern points. There has been a 2 cent drop per day on the barrel for the past week.
