Boothbay Harbor Awaits Record Busy Summer
Boothbay Harbor expects the busiest season in history as resorts fill with visitors from Bath and beyond. Andrew S. Merrill of Bath is installing a 9 000 foot 12 inch cement lined water main from Adams Pond to the town, with several hundred feet still to drill through ledge. The project, shipped from rail to Wiscasset and trucked to Boothbay Harbor, competes with road work and local commerce as Bath merchants support the town’s boom.
