Ungraded Pupils Exhibit Fine Work At Center Street School
About 75 people attended the annual ungraded classroom exhibit at Center Street School. Mrs. Hawley and Mrs. Canales led pupils in woodwork, sewing, embroidery, and cooking with items sold to visitors. Supt. Ladd and former Supt. Parker praised the program, noting Bath's rare opportunity class fosters self reliance and community citizenship.

Farley Mayo Jr was vice president Edmund Arsenault secretary and Fred O Hayward treasurer. David S Henderson John Atwood and Weston L Bonney formed a house committee. Joseph R Oliver 1 year and Weston L Bonney two years as trustees. Bonney also elected club janitor.

Over 125 Lions and guests attended the Bath Lions Club charter night at the Sedgwick to mark the third annual event. Arthur L. Pratt was installed president and Lioness Marion King led the Lionesses as president. Guests included Portland visitors Past International Director Fred Gabbi and wives, Past District Governor Arthur Hinman, District Governor Harlan Higgins and wives, and Bowdoinham's Neil S. Bishop. The evening featured songs, toast to the flag, and an installation program. One new member, G Edgar Miller, joined, bringing total to 110.
