Improperly Registered Car In A Collision

A Sunday evening collision on the Bath Brunswick highway involved two intoxicated men in a Chrysler roadster that struck James McNeil of Topsham in his Studebaker. The driver fled, the passenger disappeared into the woods, and McNeil obtained the license tag S303. State Officer Harry N Thompson traced the plates to a Chevrolet touring car owned by Trenry Caldwell of Forrest Station Maine, with Caldwell's knowledge of the matter unclear.
