Drake Not a Member of Bath School Board, Ward Vacancy Questioned
Reported error in drawing the March municipal election warrant left the Bath Board of Education functioning with three elective members plus Frederick E. Drake who served as a member from Jan 31 1921. Drake says he acted in good faith while the law is reviewed. Critics say Sec 5 of Chapter 115 needs amendment to guarantee vacancies fill until successor is elected and qualified.
