CAPT Arthur H Clark died on the fourth in Bath New England maritime figure long linked with Lloyds. He served as second officer on the clipper Northern Light making two Cape Horn voyages and commanded the 27 ton yacht Alice from Boston to Crowe England the smallest yacht to sail to England. He later commanded steamers in the China seas and authored The history of yachting and The Clipper Ship Bra.
Word reached Bath on Friday of the death of Harriet S Moses Knight widow of George T H Knight and Bath native born February 5 1855. She was aunt to Alderman Oliver Moses and the Misses Hnman and Lydia Moses. She leaves four daughters and two sisters among survivors.
Bath friends report the death of Mrs Alvin Plummins wife on June 25. She leaves husband son Everett H. Edwards and two daughters Anna L Edwards and Harriette W Roberts. She belonged to several lodge and social groups in Milwaukee San Francisco and Foxcroft.
