Dunlap Minstrels Deliver Warm Bath Stage Show
Dunlap Commandery minstrels drew a packed Bath Masonic Hall for two nights of song and comedy led by Jack Shaw. Highlights included Sam Povich singing That’s My Mammy and eight year old Jack Merrill performing Sonny Boy. The show featured Herby Douglas Dido Cutting and a strong quartet with a patriotic finale. Nearly 1300 autos sold in Bath in 1928 and Buick lead dealer activity with over 234 cars. several garages report solid year ahead.

Bowdoinham Youth Seriously Injured In Sled Accident
Ernest J. Millay, 21, son of J Frank Millay, was badly hurt Saturday on a hill near Bowdoinham while sledding. He collided with youths hauling a double runner in the dark, suffering severe facial injury and a broken collar bone. He was taken to Gardiner hospital and will be hospitalized for weeks, receiving nourishment through a tube. Millay often helped deliver cream on Bath and Gardiner routes.
