The announcement of Hon. Albert H. Shaw of Bath as the Republican candidate for Maine Governor is welcomed by Republicans statewide. Shaw, long considered a top Maine leader, agrees to campaign after urging from friends, promising a businesslike administration if elected.

Lorettus S. Metcalf of Bath petitions to prove and allow the will of Amanda L. Metcalf who died January 10 1912 leaving Lorettus S. Metcalf as executor and husband to the deceased. Notice to interested parties is ordered by publication in Bath Independent for three consecutive weeks with a court hearing set March 5 1912.
Margaret A Wildes of Bath petitions the Sagadahoc county probate court as executrix of Isaiah Wildes deceased who died January 27 1912 testate with a widow and heirs at law Ellen M Simpson Seattle and Henry E Wildes listed as siblings. The petition asks letters testamentary to issue to the named executrix. Dated February 6 1912.
