Teachers' Club Presents Three One-Act Plays at Morse High
Despite a storm nearly full house at Morse High School witnessed the Teachers' club three one act plays. Rehearsal showcased director Mrs Flaherty and cast including Catherine Campbell and Ruby Butler. The Patterson Dinner featured Miss Sawyer and Mrs Littlefield with a chaotic dinner that ends in engagement news. He Ain't Done Right by Nebl closed the program with a melodrama where Little Nell and Jack Logan triumph over Hilton Hayes, aided by Granby Perkins and Carleton.

Fire destroys one and half story house at Phippsburg
A one and a half story frame house on Small Point road at the junction with Basin road in Phippsburg burned mid day Wednesday. Bath department service truck responded but water shortages and headway prevented saving the structure. Center Pond supplied water after a hole was cut in the ice. most furniture was saved while the barn and hen house escaped. The home, owned by Mr and Mrs Louis Lemelin, had been recently remodeled.
