Maine State Golf Association held its annual meeting in Augusta and reelected John H. Hyde of Bath as president for a second year. Officers include Homer E. Robinson, Charles P. Webber, Henry P. Turner, and Edwin Barnard. The 1936 season is forecast strong with the Maine Open Amateur at Portland Country Club and the Maine Amateur at Augusta Country Club.
