Town officials seize old horse left without care
Sheriff Henderson and State Humane Agent Thompson visited Georgetown on Saturday in response to a complaint by Selectman Benjamin HL Woodside. They found a family had moved away leaving a horse unfed for two days. The 30 year old horse, described as sound, is in a Water street stable where it will be killed.

Thirty youths aged 15 to 20 returned to Bath Moodiy from the State YMCA Boys Conference in Augusta. Leland Plummer of West Bath was re elected master of Sagadahoc county Pomona at the annual meeting on Nov 80 with West Bath Grange. Edwin C. Patten Tops ham was re elected treasurer for his 28nd year and Mrs Joanin Hodgkins Bath was re elected lecturer for her 6th year. Pomona established a benevolent fund and voted banners for attendance. A musical program and dinner for 2200 people followed as all county granges were represented.
