Bath City Treasurer Ralph Hall Dies at 70
Bath mourns the death of Ralph K. Hall 70 longtime city treasurer and tax collector after a weeklong illness. Born in Rockland he worked 25 years with Swift and Co later serving Bath as treasurer from 1915 1920 and again from 1920 to 1930. Surviving are his widow two daughters a son and two grandchildren. Funeral from Arthur F. Mayo residence with Rev. Charles Myron Tubbs officiating.

Mrs. Lillian Senecal of Arrowsic was wounded in the leg when a .22 caliber rifle discharged accidentally at her home as her son Douglas, 18, prepared for a hunting trip. The bullet entered above the knee, traveled downward four inches, and shattered muscle. He drove her to Osteopathic Hospital for treatment.

Fortunate Trapper Returns to Bath Iron Works
Harvey Henderson Jr of Park Street has finished vacation and gone back to his Bath Iron Works shop. He reports a highly successful trapping period with 32 foxes captured in a week and a half, two raccoons, two skunks, and an eight point buck weighing about 200 pounds near Dresden on Monday around three in the afternoon. He also traps muskrats, selling many to a ready market.
