Johnny's New Suit Shines at Morse High School Evening
Morse High school seniors staged Johnny's New Suit to a packed audience in the assemble hall on Wednesday night. The show drew a large crowd, delighted attendees, and wrapped with vocal performances from the class. Nearby, debris from gales covered the khaki recruiting tent on the post office lawn, resembling an Eskimo igloo as snow clung to its walls. Moviegoers at Liberty Theatre were invited to see A Man's Country with Alma Rubens, plus the Third Eye serial and comedy. Opra House offered Wilson and Wilson plus Charles Legedar as vaudeville acts. Thanksgiving skates gave way to sledding plans for many youngsters. Bowling league talks were scheduled upstairs at Park Alleys with representatives from four fraternal organizations.
