Old Bark Proves Great Attraction for Many Artists
The 1876 clipper Coriolanus, renamed and repurposed, drew painters to Bath Maine as they capture its weathered hull and looming three spars. Once called Queen of the Jute Clippers, she earned fame for a London to Calcutta run and survived wars, blockades, and sales before fading from glory with a 1930s revival attempt.
