Togus Triumphs Over Bath Tron Works In Slow Baseball Game

Togus defeated Bath Tron Works 12 to 5 on Saturday afternoon in Togus. Home runs by Wardwell and a first-year showing by Wood highlighted the offense as Togus pulled away with four runs in the fourth and two more in the eighth. Pineau’s catch in the third and strong pitching by Lizotte and Bragdon anchored the win. Bath’s St. Clair and Hendee produced a few bright spots, but Togus led most of the game.
