Chemical would cost Bowdoinham town $250
The Bowdoinham village committee reports a chemical fire apparatus would cost about 250 dollars complete with extras. The town previously approved the amount in 1908 but no engine was bought. Citizens are urged to show interest to secure town aid at the annual meeting.

Hay Still Standing in Phippsburg Owing to Weather
Town notes show much hay remains unsold as poor weather and scarce fodder hinder cutting across farms. The column reports a local fire loss, an annual appearance of the organ grinder, Camp Dudley activities, tours by the Silouan, and local social visits. Capt. Pease inspects the organ grinder’s night lodging at the Town Hall stable.
