Ernest L. Hodge Dies While Walking Near Bristol

Ernest L. Hodge, 40, of 89 Oliver Street and a Bath Iron Works shipfitter, died suddenly Saturday evening while walking on Old County Road at Bristol. Born October 20, 1918 in Portsmouth Virginia, he had served in the European Theater and with the Army of Occupation in Germany. He leaves a father and stepmother in Zebulon, two brothers, a sister in Bath, and a half sister in Zebulon. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery, Zebulon.
