Neurologists Link Salt Balance to Madness in Cells
A Philadelphia Psychiatry Society paper by Dr. Ludlum and Dr. McDonald argues that cellular salt imbalance alters electrical currents, affecting the vegetative nervous system and causing mental disturbances. X rays show salt-induced changes in stomach and intestinal muscles, linking emotion and insanity to electrolyte shifts.
