Howard M. Rice led the Saga dahoc Rod Gun and Skeet Club as it opened the 1935 season on the North Bath road. Rice shot 22 of 25, Ed Clough 21, Fred Sturtevant 20, eight shooters averaged 18 percent, and more adjustments were planned with Walter Woodbury expected to tune the traps before Sunday's 2 PM shoot.

Twenty two Acadia lodge Knights of Pythias members traveled by Bluebird bus to Rumford for the Western Maine Pythian Jubilee. A large parade drew over 500 in line with bands and Pythian Sisters.
