Bowdoinham mourns the death of Mrs. Miles N Reed a community leader and church helper. Funeral at Baptist Church with large attendance. husband Rev Miles N Reed to preach upon return from Lee Massachusetts where interment will be. several relatives and townspeople attend.
Woolwich notes say the postponed Easter concert will be held tomorrow at two in the afternoon at the Montsweag Baptist Church with all invited. Other items mention Eugene Cromwell at McKay's mill, Miss Ellen Corliss' bookkeeping at Hyde Windlass, and several residents and visitors across Woolwich.
Fred Meacham has his saw mill in operation and is sawing daily. Irene Chase recovers from a broken arm and is improving. Eugene Small works on painting the No. 9 schoolhouse. Myrtie Baker returns to teaching at Riverside. Florence Baker teaches in Litchfield. George Keene and Bessie Kelly of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, visited Mrs. Evelyn Small last week.

Fires near Gott s Cove and school efforts prompt community teamwork. The fish business revives as Maid of the Mist and Rowe family members travel to Bath for K P Lodge events.

Brown Bible class leads Wednesday evening at Winnegance church. Fred S. Coombs and son Randal visit Lewiston Sunday. School closes Monday for Patriot's Day. Mrs Alec Knight visits sister Mrs Toothaker in Brunswick. Mrs Charles T Small entertains the Ladies' Aid. Evening Workers hold monthly sociable Tuesday at Mrs Harry Williams. Games and refreshments. Mrs Timothy Rogers returns from Brunswick. Mr and Mrs Lambert depart winter at Ellen Walker’s home to Higgins Beach Thursday. Miss Purington hosts Evening Workers.
