Will Sustained In Probate Court Trial Reaffirms Gardiner Will
The probate ruling upholds a will that favored Gardiner’s daughter Sadie, after evaluating evidence of affection and possible influence. The judge found no undue influence by Mrs. Herfel, noting Gardiner’s open execution with casual witnesses and a clear, voluntary intention despite questions about family dynamics and past tensions. The decision emphasizes independent testamentary intent and dismisses claims of coercion or manipulation.
