The ladies of the German M E Church will host a Thanksgiving social at the Town Hall on Thursday evening November 28. A fine program will be rendered with a turkey lunch ice cream cake and other refreshments. Admission is free and all are invited to join a social evening starting at 4 p m.
On Wednesday morning Karl Gelauschke in Geo had a leg broken in two places when a rolling sawlog ran over the limb in Bessler's yard. Dr. Gibson set the fractures and the patient, though elderly, is expected to recover with a reasonably rapid healing.
